If you're not going for absolute correctness using teak would last a lot
longer, a more inexpensive (but by no means cheap) alternative would be
mahogany deck planks. Oodles strong but the wrong type of wood/color.
Whatever you put down just be sure to seal the crap out of it, all sides
and all cuts - even the bolt holes.
