Because he is a potential member.

I'm pretty sure that calling him an Asshole is not going to prompt him
to sign up.

Here is a simple sales lesson since you do represent the MVPA by showing
your # below your name.

1. Show Up. (Doesnt' really apply here)
2. Don't insult your customers.

You violated rule number two.

Perhaps the MVPA should give you the boot?
