That was hysterical! I'm a Canadian working in New York so, of course,
I sent that around the office and received the appropriate hilarity.

I should point out that your history is incorrect. That is the SECOND
aircraft carrier. The FIRST one, we tried putting "water wings" on the
wings of an aircraft and gave that a shot. As you can imagine, this
one was more successful but it was a bitch rowing fast enough to
create lift on the wings.
