I priced fresh fryer oil some time ago and it came out to about $3.20/gallon
in quantities less than 100 gallons. It comes 35 lb/ plastic jug (about 5
gallons). I use these empty containers to store my biodiesel, which would
normally be trashed by the restaurant.
Filtered used cooking oil works great also (at least in the summer time) and
it's free. Supposedly best when mixed with petro diesel no more than 50%.
