Greetings All,
My M151A2 transmission locked up in gear after the last parade I drove
it in. I pulled the top cover and discovered that the 3rd gear
synchro was worn and partially coming apart causing it to lock the
trans in gear. So I need to either rebuild or replace the
transmission.
I've discovered that a lot of the parts are readily available, but
when I add up the total, it gets pretty close to the price of a
rebuilt unit from a couple vendors.
Do I rebuild or replace?
