Just caught an interesting interview on Radio 4 with the always interesting
social commentator Gore Vidal about the disaster and I quote... "the
Governor of Louisssiana has a tough job right now keeping her head above
water....." I really think he didn't mean to say that but it was an
unfortunate phrase.
Now to moving swiftly along to vehicular questions.......
However, my perception is that quite a lot of the MV's shown on various news
reports look in "as new" condition and certainly look much smarter and
indeed newer than those I have seen in Germany - maybe its the paint
schemes? Or are these vehicles National Guard and perhaps have done a lower
annual mileage? or am I just imagining it? How does one tell difference
between NG and full military apart from markings? Does the NG have new or
pre-owned vehicles?
That's enough questions for this time of day. Answers on a post card please.
