Hi, Bob. Nice problem to have! :-) Probably need a M747 trailer and a
HET tractor. I think the HET has a big winch on the back to pull it up
on the trailer. Alternatively, you can flat tow it on the road behind a
similar sized vehicle. House mover companies sometimes have teh M123C 10
ton tractor, which has a 45 ton winch on the back for recovery. I saw
one the other day moving a house. The M60 shouldn't damage the roadway,
assuming the rubber pads are ok.
If it were me, I'd rig up a truck motor/tranny, and a truck rear end
in the engine compartment and use that to run the tracks (albeit at a
very slow speed) themselves. Probably need to use granny gear and hope
there are no hills. Use the existing brakes on that rear end for
steering, supplimenting it with sand on the roadway when you need to
really turn it. Sand will let the tracks turn easier. Don't even think
about going down a hill. Too dangerous. Let us know what you come up
with. Congrats, too! Jim
