The transfer case will go into neutral with out the key. You should know
that all the CUCV trucks use the same master key. Half the guys I know in
the Army or guard have a CUCV master key on their car keys. You can get the
key cut at any Chevy dealer.

Subject: [MV] cucv tranny?? please help

Hey list,

Just did the GL thing again and bought a M1009 in Florida. Do I need keys
in order to put the transfer case in neutral or will it slip into neutral
without keys in order to put it onto a dolley or trailer..

Any suggestions or comments would be much appreciated..
