Depending on the state, A significant portion of
what sonny saw as a $1.00 per gallon could be
taxes that are paid on the back end through IFTA
and not on the front end (PA has a $.36 tax on
diesel!). The other portion of that discount
could have been negotiated fuel purchase prices.
