Hmmmm Since it a well known fact that the US Army has more ships than the
US Navy, ........ who's (what country's) is the `largest' "navy" then?

Reminds me of one of my favorite assignements-----a quad service
base......Misawa AB Japan. An Air Force Base.
When I was there the US Navy had the airplanes (P-3s) and operated the
flight line, The US Army provided the ships that supplied us. The USAF had
the armor (EOD had an M-60 tank with a dozer blade and the Secuity Police a
bunch of peacekeepers). And the Marines did what they alway do, wander
around wondering what TO do ...... (nasty grin). (Actually the marines
assigned there were part of the NAVCOMSECGP that shared spaces with us on
"the hill".)

Dave J
who is VERY aware that our Navy is the finest even if proved not simply the
largest.
