This looks like a very good example of someone who has gone too far
down the wrong road. He should have bought the gas to go to the next
inspection station. As I read it, the only official who has seen it is
the girl who thought it was a tank. It makes me wonder why he even

wants a tag if he didn't want to drive it 45 more miles. Now the head
man has made a decree that no private military armored vehicle can be
tagged in Kansas.

I agree with Glen that as a rule we shouldn't "rock the boat", but this
man has rocked it and turned it over. Now the question is, should the
hobby and MVPA come and pluck him out. I for one think that protecting
our legal rights to buy, own, and sell HMV's is one of the primary
purposes of the MVPA and they should step in and do something, even if
it is only putting him in contact with local Kansas members with
armored vehicles.

I do hope those of you with tagged armored vehicles have responded off
list with the make model and state licensed in of your MV.

Also, what category would local law enforcement fall in? They have to
buy state government tags here. I would think someone in Kansas is
running a peacekeeper or something.
