Well, I have done this without the rotator. Its true you cant do it right
while its on its wheels but there is another way. I was able to roll my jeep
onto its side without damaging anything. The center of gravity was such that
once it starts to roll it just sort of lays over. It doesn't "flip". This is
on a A1 so the swing axle may have helped that. I laid down 4x4 wood block
on the floor where I was rolling towards. Position is really important to
prevent dents. I then covered them in thick foam. I used an engine hoist in
the lifting eye of the front driver side tire. Jacked it up until it started
to balance and then a friend and I laid it over. Allowed great access to all
areas required. At http://m718.yellow-snow.com I have pics of my jeep during
that process and you can take a look. I would pull the powerpack if at all
possible as the engine/trans/driveshafts will be in the way for the kit
install. Good luck and feel free to email me off list of you want more
details.

I own the "rotator" to do this.. If you do not have the rotator kit...forget

it.! Plain and simple..(it is for sale)
It is a very tough job to do - which requires the vehicle to be upside down
for the process. ALL fluids in the engine must be drained... If not upside
down...you will NEVER get it right....
I have done about 9 of them..and none were "easy".. Tolerable ---but NOT
easy.
