Esteemed list members,
I know that this is off on a tangent, so delete now if not interested.
You must be a U.S. citizen to become an officer in the US armed forces.
You do not need US citizenship to enlist in the US military.
However, you must aquire US citizenship in order to re-enlist in the US
military.
