I can remember several convoy trips from MacDill AFB, FL up to Ft. Cambell
and back. Driving an M35A2 with the radar antenna assembly in the bed, and
dragging a AN/TPS-44 radar van on mobilizers behind. Seemed like long trips
to me then.
