 February 3 is "Four Chaplains Day", a day set aside to remember and honor
the four U.S. chaplains who sacrificed their own lives to save others. The
Dorchester, a ship carrying 900 troops, was hit by a German torpedo. In
the panic that arose, these four men helped others abandon the ship, calmed
their fears and, in acts of total self sacrifice, gave their life jackets
