CUCV fixed... sorta....

Well the controlled card is apparently fine. The diagram for the
manual GP switch lead to finding a ground wire that apparently been
corroding and arching and melted itself. Apparently when one of those two
ground wires breaks the GP light goes out and the GPs stay on. I ordered a
set of the good GPs as mine aren't getting warm now. Of course my guy in
the shop promptly broke the lil silver tabs off the key switch screwing with
steering column. Anyone got a spare lock cylinder for the column cheap?
(with the lil silver ears) Anyway looks like my little girl will be ready
for the big snow if it shows up Saturday. We should have it back together
tomorrow. Check to make sure it is all working again and out the door.
Nothing like an excuse to get my big Oreo CUCV on patrol.

Thanks for all the info. I got to tell our mechanic, 'no man ya gotta get
the AC 60 G plugs, those other ones are junk....."
