Hmmm
kinda goes along with the trend eg Kansas and
elsewhere.. IF this is true IF- (and Im checking with
some French friends).. then this is of concern to all
of us. Why? As governments do watch what other
governments do..

This kind of trend will also eventually affect all
aspects related to our hobby. In the past historic
military radio folks have faced restrictions,
certainly firearms owners are and will face increasing
restrictions..
(Canada has to have ALL operating firearms
registered--ostensibly to reduce crime (billions of $
for nothing!!) and in the recent general election
campaign in a knee jerk reaction a proposal was made
to ban ALL handguns- collections would have to be
turned in for destruction (with "compensation" !!!!)

This is a trend we should be aware, and lilke any good
military organization, have plans to deal with it.
