Yep, that is what I am talking about. There are a couple of companies
that make them and they go from about 8 kw up to a hundred kw or so.

If the regular duece PTO doesn't put out enough RPM at a comfortable
engine rpm, you can buy PTOs which have different gears in them or
engage different gears in the transmission so you can get various RPMS
out of the PTO. If you have a PTO on your truck now, all you need to do
is to put a handheld tachometer on it to see what it can put out RPM
wise. A drive shaft shop should be able to do that for you very easily
if you don't have one.
