They need to be pushed out of the house Committee on Motor Vehicles and once out, they need to go to the Rules Committee for a vote. Once past that, they go to the general floor for a vote and then the governor will sign them (or we convoy past his house every other evening and have 'breakdowns'. ;-)

SB28 classes any sized vehicle used for recreation as a Class B or A Non-commercial vehicle. Thus your 5 ton semi-tractor (or 50's civilian Mack Semi-tractor) does NOT require a Class A CDL, but a Class A non-Commercial license. Same as a farmer or firefighter uses to drive their big farm semi-tractor or hook and ladder. You don't drive them as Recreational Vehicles under the Class C rules, but you're not Commercial.

SB27 allows you to register your MV (Any size!) as a Classic/Collector vehicle and keep the tag legally in your glove box. No requirement to display the tag under Georgia law. No lights, no permanent mounting bracket, no holes drilled in sheet metal to ruin the correct look of your jeep's rear end.
