Hi Doug
GL has the position that any vehicles that they sell without the SF97 are
sold for purposes of scrap, cannibalization for parts etc and not for road
use. They are considered junk by GL. Any vehicle that they consider road
worthy are sold with the SF97 which makes life a lot easier if you intend to
ever get the beast on the road again. You have to bid accordingly.

Subject: [MV] MV Registration w/no SF97?

Bob brought up a great topic that I have a direct interest in, one of MV
Titling. I've noticed most of GL's vehicles state "No SF97 Will Be Issued".
How is one supposed to get one of these vehicles, be it an M1008, M35, etc,
on the road if you can't get anything more than a bill of sale. I'm in
Florida and don't know the requirements for titling, but just getting my
Dodge or Kawasaki registered can be hassle enough. I can't imagine trying to
get an old M35A2 (what I'm considering) registered.

If anyone has any information on how to register and title an MV from GL
with no SF97, It'd be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Doug
