Thanks for all the good info guys! I'm waiting for the rains to stop
so I can go out and take a close look and see what's what on it. I'm
pretty sure the glow plug relay has been updated to the new one. It
looks just like the one Julian describes in his article. Not sure
about the glow plugs themselves, but I'll see what's there.

Not too terribly worried about the salt on the roads, as out here in
the Silicon Valley, the only way I'm gonna see salt on the road is if
someone tosses a salt shaker out of their BMW on the freeway. And if
it actually snows here, most everyone curls up in the fetal position
and the gubbermint declares a police state until it thaws.. But I will
still plan to treat the underside, as I do so hate the metal termites!
