Hello Graham,

When you replace the pressure switch bleed the as per instructions. If
needed I can supply. The TM's are available to down load from LOGSA and
are very nice to have. You can check the Glow plugs easily with a VOM
meter. also the volt meter inside the cab should show a load ( the
needle should move to the left about an 1/8th to 3/16th of an inch, if
no movement = no load ) when you turn the key on to start while the wait
light is on. It will also cycle ( the meter will move to the left when
the glow plug solenoid engages for warming cycle ) while warming up if
you still have the controller card in use. Also check the rubber lines
going from the filter to the injector pump. (clamps tight, no cracks)
Check output of fuel pump ( can be done when bleeding system, do need
soldier #2 for cranking motor) and look for stains from the fuel. Diesel
will creep from wherever it leaks and leave a stain. Check the little
rubber lines (return lines) on the injectors. It sounds like it may be
glow plugs (or that part of the starting cycle) as with a higher cetane
fuel it starts. Is it cold where you are? Hope some of this helps.
