Sounds like one of the battery posts may be (or has) gone bad and you're
getting an intermittent connection. Either that or some of the other
"load" wires in the truck have worked loose/corroded to the point where
they are not conducting as well. (Load wires being the big heavy ones
like the ground wires and starter wires).
