Fred, the point is we could temporarily import clean ethanol to sustain us
at a reasonable price until such time we are self sufficient with our own
ethanol. In the words of Gen Patton, "A good solution applied with vigor
now is better than a perfect solution applied ten minutes later." You want
perfect, perfect ain't going to happen immediately...support what we can
now. It's a matter of common sense, something that is sorely lacking in
Washington these days.
