Just jumping in on this- last Friday I drove 624.1 miles, elapsed time
for trip = 14hrs, fuel cost $121.00. That comes out to 43.369 gallons of
diesel. Truck '91 F350 Ford, 7.3 normally aspirated Navstar diesel, 5
speed O/D manual trans, 410 differential. Turned 'er around Saturday and
did a trip of 737 miles moving a WC 3/4 tn Command Car for a fellow
MV'er. Fuel consumption was same per mile.
