I've been using used cooking oil in my HMMWV for a year now. I just pour it
through a filter and dump it into the tank. The engine actually runs much
nicer with the oil in it. I haven't had any problems at all. The only
thing I can say that was close to a problem was it would spew white smoke
right after start-up and idling for 5 min on a real cold day. But once you
start driving it goes away.

Federal law allows 1,600 gallons of Biodiesel
made/used per year. So Why is he going to bother?

And how does he tell the difference between taxed
biodiesel made for sale and something you made
yourself?
