On Wednesday, I will be leaving heading to Hawaii. On Thursday morning,
I will be boarding the USS Ronald Reagan to join my step-son.
Several months ago, I was made aware of Tiger Cruises that the Navy
hosts. Basically, for me, I will board the USS Ronald Reagan and will
stay on her for the duration it is docked in Hawaii, then she will leave
Hawaii and travel to San Diego where she will be back 'Home' form a
several month cruise to the Gulf.
To go on this cruise is an opportunity of a lifetime. The schedule is
somewhat foggy, but I should be returning between July 6-8. There is
talk we will return to San Diego on July 4th...I can only imagine how
emotional that will be.
