< Three things, RF. Firstly I'm not so sure that LR will take over the world.
My Dodge/GMC/Willys/Bedford comrades would have something to say about
that claim...:-) (although I have had 2x LR myself).
Secondly, the list is for military vehicles only. As such, any land-based
vehicle of ANY type (I know someone who has a Wehrmacht bicycle - which
also counts) which has done, or is doing military service with any nation
at all, at any time, is eligible to be regarded as a military vehicle.
If someone has a Toyota Landcruiser which can be proved to have done
service with, for example, the Japanese army, then he/she is welcome on
the list. It is the vehicle ITSELF which counts, and not neccessarily the
TYPE of vehicle.
Thirdly, I am not censuring (or filtering) the list at all. Everything
which comes in has the header removed (apart from Date, Subject, From
fields), and any repetitive paragraphs (unless neccessary to understand
the meaning of the material being entered) in order to save space. The
whole lot is then bundled together and sent out a few minutes later to
the presently 23 subscribers (now growing at a rate of 2 per day). This
may change in the future when the list gets automated - in which case
everyone on the list at the time will be informed.
