Hi there,

This is John Edwards of "History on Wheels" - previously called the Australian
Jeep Register, touching base with international MV owners on the net. Can you please
provide further information with respect to the subscription service etc.

As mentioned by Steve Malikoff in the CLUBS List section I'm the bloke that has a copy
of the Aust Army jeep register.

I can advise that Steve's modest comments hide the fact of 17,000 jeeps and a similar
number of trailers of Army RAAF and RAN origins. It is not a copy. This is the original
and only copy of such, on a computer database in the southern hemisphere, as far as I
know. This database also incorporates US bonnet numbers, engine #'s, and chassis'.

The reason I am on the net tonight, apart from letting the world know who & what I
do. Is that I am also releasing (in a few months) the inaugural "Australian WWII jeep
Calendar" for 1997. These will be available shortly and interested parties should please
drop me a line if they want a copy or two (please). Prices are still to be set, but
these 13 b/w page Calendars will be an of original Australian unreleased prints. The
main theme being Australian jeeps during the South West Pacific theatre from 1942 to
1945.

Hope to hear from you soon,

Regards

John Edwards (ozjeep@hutch.com.au)
