Suggest you try the MVPA who have a lot of jeep history books in their on line
catalog:

http://users.aol.com/supplyline/mvpa/mvpa_book_club.html

Also, Portrayal Press is the main supplier -- I don't have my collection here,
but you can find their address in any of the MV magazines.

I am from Western PA just a few miles from Butler and often went there. There
is now a Butler Historical Society with a museum on the Bantam site. They
might have some more information for you. I don't know the address or phone
number, but the area code is 412.

Hope this helps,
chuck

================================================
Could anyone give me information about the Bantam jeeps, specifically the
"Blitz Buggy from
Butler"? My grandfather, John R. Nebel, was one of the original 49 designers
and he wrote the
maintanence manual for it. I'm assuming the "Blitz Buggy..." refers to my
grandfather, since his
stamping company was in Butler,PA and that's what he made during the war
years. If anyone knows
any books about the subject or has any information or leads I'd be greatly
appreciative!
THANKS
