I posted the following a few days ago, trying to identify it for
rebuild information, and have recieved a couple of informative answers:

I want to add: It is 4-cycle, and turns at 1800 rpm. It is rated 3000
watts. The model number on the generator build plate is W3M. The
alternator end is ONAN, but that build plate does not reference the
motor, and there is no other build plate.
