I am hoping someone can help with the following questions re jeep first aid
kits.
I have seen several types - one type has 4 snap catches while the other
type has a hinge on one side and 2 catches on the other. I have heard it said
that the hinged type is post WW2 - is this correct?
I have also heard that if the lettering on the lid includes the words " Item
9777300 " , then this indicates a post WW2 version. Is this correct?
Also, does anyone know of a good source for repro contents labels which
were originally attached to the inside of the lid? Or for original contents.
