The jump seat folds down behind the spare tire. It doesn't replace it.
If your truck originally was prepped for a jump seat there will already
be nuts welded to the front of the box. This was dropped from
production pretty early. My '51 had the seat, but my '54 does not have
the provision for it. The bolt pattern is at an angle to the side of
the box and would not be to easy to duplicate. best of luck.
