Hi everybody

I'm new to this group and I find it very interesting
it seems that a lot of people don't now their vehicles history and
I'm one
of them. I have a early script MB with s/n 119404

and the name plate on the dashboard says that my engine number is
120757
(or rather should have been, because it has been replaced
sometime)
and date of MF'G is 13th of feb 1942.unfortunately the slat grill
is gone
replaced with the newer one
I do know that it came to Sweden from Norway late 45 - early 46
and was registered as civilian in mid 46. I tracked down the first
owner
but he couldn't help me because all the numbers on the jeep was
gone
as he recalled and he didn't have a photo of the car.

when I bought it in 1984 it had been standing in a garage since
early 70's
but the owner had starting to fix all the rust on the car so it
had no
paint on it.
but after reading some of these letter in the group it looks like
my MB
could be a canadian one, and if that's the case did they have a
star on the
hood? and is the registration-number starting with 20 or did the
canadians
have their own type of registation-numbers?

I would be very glad if I can get any information on this from
you, people
out there
