Hi Byron...sorry but I could not help adding a word or two to your
comments on your Ferret. The oil in the engine, gearbox,and transfer-
box should be SAE 30. It must also be straight 30 with no detergent
additives or you will cause damage.

It's not a very good idea to work off one battery which is operating in
series with another. What is wrong with the 24v lights and radios ?
Or was the vehicle aquired minus these items ?

I am sorry for the short absence, but I moved from the UK to here in New
Zealand during December and have only just got myself set up again
