The same as all fluid flywheels coupled to Wilson
boxes..........straight 30..... The Ferret, the Dingo and the old
Daimler cars. Remember many modifications are usualy made by the
Brit's after field use. The manuals are normaly published at the onset.
In use you will find that most drivers tend to under-rev the Ferret
engine, causing the gearbox to overheat. Which in turn transfers the
heat to the fluid-flywheel oil seal......10 leaks too easily through
this seal. If your are in California you will also have to attend to
the hubs in a different way. The classic mistake made by most US
collectors is in interpretating the British vehicle manuals. The
manuals are regularly superseded for either modifications in materials,
oils or theatres of operation (different climes).

It was Will Power that kept the British Army on the move !!
