While in an equipment yard in here in Southern CA., this weekend I found an
interesting vehicle for sale. It's a mid to late 70's Blazer, on a
shortened M35 frame. It has M35 axles as well as a multi fuel engine and M35
winch. The guy I talked to thought it was a turbo, but I didn't have time
to poke around too close. I did notice that the rear axle was a steering
axle, similar to what you would see in a monster truck. It appeared that it
could be pinned during street or highway use and engaged for off road use.
The vehicle was running when parked, and hasn't been driven since. I think
it's been 6 or 7 years. At any rate, I know it's of no interest to us
purists, however, it someone needs a spare engine, drivetrain components, or
winch setup, it could be a good parts truck. If there is any interest, let
me know and I will find out how much they want for it, etc.

Thanks,
Sean
