24th Annual East Coast Rally at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD

The largest military vehicle rally in North America, except for the
National Convention will be held 15-18 May 1997 at Aberdeen Proving Ground
Maryland. Sponsored by the Washington Area Collectors of Military Vehicles
and the Blue and Grey Military Vehicle Trust. $2.00 Admission, proceeds
go to Ordnance Museum. Free parking, Rally will be held near world famous
U.S. Army Ordnance Museum, 100s of Tanks, Artillery, Weapons of the World.
Camping on site for partcipants, many motels located nearby. Take I-95
North from Baltimore, 25 miles, exit 85, south (rt 22) to Aberdeen Proving
Ground, about 3 miles. For those interested in participating in the
Rally either for the vehcile judging, or a vender space for the military
flea market/swap meet, I have the forms available via a bit file, send
an e-mail message to me at "wbuonau@apg-9.apg.army.mil". The files contain
all the information regarding, phone numbers, motels, etc. This is a family
event and will be held in conjunction with APG's Armed Forces Day open house
celebration on the 18 May, displays, Army Band, carnival, etc. Held rain
or shine, come prepared.
