SARCO sells PRC-6 for $35 each or a pair for $65. They also report
having plans available to make battery packs. The radios are US surplus
that went to Israel and were sold back to US dealers by the Israelis.
They have Isreali dataplates is the only difference.

Don't know if anybody would be interested in these- a friend has a local
surplus shop, and I saw some "hand held" (almost as big as a rocket
launcher ;-) "NATO" made in germany walkie talkies. No AN #, but he
says they are a #RT-196 PR-C6. They use miniature tubes/valves and
who
know what type of A & B batteries . . . let me know if you are
interested and I will put you in touch with the owner- asking $150/pair
or best offer . . .
