One of the organizers of our local Vintage Veteran Vehicles club asked me to
ask all of you if anyone has any information on the Model 50 and the Model
50R Ramsey Winches used on the M38 and the M38A1. He is asking for a list of
manufacturing years, serial numbers, and/or what each one cost the U.S.
government at the time. If you could help me out, it would help me pay him
back for pulling my M151A1 out of a mud-hole with his Air Force M38,
