Please be aware that the outfitting of a civilian vehicle to
make it appear to be military has been causing trouble in
Europe and the UK of recent. There have been several editorial
comments about it in "Wheels and Tracks" magazine.

Now I am not saying that you should not be able to do as you
please with your own vehicle, that is entirely up to you.

Why not do your vehicle as military as you like: just don't put
military markings on it.

As far as the shovel and axe go, your vehicle never had the
cut-outs in the left hand side of the body like the WW2
vehicles; so why not find another location for them that
looks plausible, say across the tail gate.

As far as advertisements etc for parts, subsribe to the MVPA
and you will get their Supply Line magazine which is full of
ads. (Or visit their web site if you want more info).
