I was informed last night of the resignations. I have sent Jerry Cleveland a
letter stating my opposition to the MVPA decision.

I'm sure that other members of the MVPA will be responding.

The MVPA, without addressing the entire membership about the, so called,
"seriousness" of the 151 matter and deciding to exclude these vehicles, was
wrong.

The board has jumped to conclusions and acted without full knowledge of the
truth of the legality of ownership of these vehicles as determined by State
Law. (You don't Federally register a vehicle) at least not yet.

What about Armor? The DRMO must demill all Armored Vehicles. I suppose that
just a few sneaked by and weren't touched or torched. Yet these will be
judged, right?

The ruling, if it is to stand, needs to cover ALL of the "Illegal" vehicles,
or not AT ALL.

The MVPA needs to resend this ruling. Clear and simple.

Thanks, Jim Leonard

I think it was terrible what has been done to M151 and HUMMV owners by
the MVPA. This problem with the government and these vehicles was being
researched by Wayne Anthony Ross of Alaska. The board/officers
arbitrarily decided to put this policy into affect without letting Mr.
Ross finish his research. (Mr. Ross is a attorney). This along with
other reasons is why two of our board members recently resigned.
(including Mr. Ross) Your local chapter officers should have more
information regarding their resignation or let me know and I will fill
you in.
