This is a so-called "local sealed spot bid sale" which is handled
entirely by the Keesler DRMO; the trailers will not have been offered on
a so-called "national sale" handled by the Memphis DRMS sales office.
I have not looked at these trailers, so cannot vouch for their
condition. I have seen this type of trailer at Keesler on other sales,
however, and they have generally been in fair to good condition. Caveat
emptor!!
If you want to bid blind (meaning without inspecting the trailers), pull
up the DRMS Web site at http://www.drms.dla.mil and wade through the
pages to find the bid submission instructions. You can also FAX your
bid to them at (601) 377-5084. Drop-dead bid submission date/time is 9
AM, 6 March 1997.
