I think I know of a source of cheap military tarp covers for the m416.
I'll try to go by there this weekend. The covers are the thick type
like the tops for the M151. These are true military surplus and in good
shape. I have bought several in the past to cover various things around
my property. They should be about 20 dollors. Let me know if you are
