They are probably English and are marked:
"Periscope Tank No 7 Mk1"
9" high 5" wide 2" thick, they have the strange (but effective)
baynet style retainer fitting on the lower back face. But best
of all they can be dismantled and reassembled so that the periscope
looks backwards over your head. I have never seen any other tank
periscope that can do this.
Although they look similar to the Saladin commanders 'scope
they won't fit into the mount - any ideas?
