kish@browncow.com(Bill Kish) is correct. He said the 9N manifold was for an
updraft engine. This was modified I guess when Henry decided to put it in the
GP, to a downdraft. I ment to say, in my list of wanted parts, that I do not
want a manifold for a 9N engine.
Also, in answer to his question on the Ford fire extinguisher, I don't
believe that they were provided with jeeps. I think at that time they were
only provided in civilian trucks. Just a guess from what I have been told and
read. Henry put other manuf. extinguishers in his jeeps, as far as I know. I
just like them and want one.
If anyone has any more specific knowledge on this, please advise.
