I live in Maine, a heavly wooded state and I alwase get a good chuckle when
someone tries to off-road in a Ford F250 or similar vehicle. I can only
imagine the hardship of trying to get a Hummer down the majority of the
trails around here without a Serman to cut it a bit wider. As a matter of
fact I have to be extra carefull not to get my M151A1 stuck badly, as I would
be calling Ron to bring his M38 to bail me out again as nothing else can fit
down these trails, even alot of newer Jeeps have a bit of a problem if they
have huge "mudder" tires. (I NEED to get a winch). Now I'm not saying there
are no trails you could take a Hummer down, but if we were playing "catch me
if you can" around here with a HMMWV and a M151, I wouldn't be in the Hummer.
Personally, I like to leave the woods pretty much as I found them, as in not
bashing down trees to try to follow my buddy in a Willys.
