Didn't realize you have been into the M422 so long, Daryl. Last one I saw
was on McKenna beach in Maui, Hawaii. Surprised the hell out of me to see
it come out of the woods to the sand line and park (no other vehicles came
down that far). It was a little beat up in body and paint but ran fine.

Best,

Back in the '70s I ran with a 4X4 club. We'd set up trail rides and
always the discussion - WHat kind of trail ride? The pick-up guys didn't
want to bend or scratch up their vehicles and if we stayed on such trails
(dirt roads, really) then the MB-CJ5 guys were just on a 2WD walk in the
sun. And me, with a mighty-mite, 15 ft turning radius, limited slip diffs
front & rear, could run circles around the pick-ups through the woods!
(Literally!) So, we just had to have one type one week and a real trail
ride the next week.
