RR motor services is;

Mike Stallwood (lovable rogue department)
Diana S. ( Mikes wife and a lovely person - dont know what she sees in
him ! )
Tim, who knows about the stock and prices etc - the person to ask for
if you phone.

I believe the name comes from the fact that they used to sell a lot of
RR engine spares for Champs etc. As for a recommendation, well, I'd
say they are typical military surplus dealers, longer established than
most and reasonable of reputation. I'd buy bits from Mike , but as
with all dealers I'd rather do it in person to see exactly what I'm
getting. From their side selling parts by mail order must be a real
pain and need quite a mark-up to cover boxing, freight, etc. I'd go
to RR if I needed Champ bits or similar. Expensive bits or complete
vehicles I'd get a competitive quote from Budge at Retford as a
comparison. Gordon 8-)
