Fellow MV lovers,
My 42 GPW is giving me some problems.....At high RPM, the carbeurator seems
to be loading up....it appears to be either getting too much fuel or not
enough air......if you left off of the gas for just a second and then get
back on it, it clears up for a few seconds and then starts cutting out again.

If you loosen the air cleaner pipe, it runs great....it makes me think its
not getting enough air.....the oil level in the air cleaner canister is
fine....is there a brand of oil or substitute that works best????? Has
anyone had this problem before????? HELP!!!

Also, on GP's of this era how is the top affixed to the windshield frame and
rear panel???? Are they snapped as in later CJ's or what?
Please reply asap.
thanks,
Steve Watkins
